Plain-language notes on what changed and why, newest first.
Stability day. Sync could crash the Mac app when the same track sat in two queued playlists. Fixed. Phones that got revoked mid-pairing now find their way back to the QR screen. And you can finally drag the waveform to scrub, which I have wanted for weeks.
Two full review passes over the sync engine. Smartlists now compare dates as actual dates, cancelled syncs stay cancelled, and a Rekordbox import can no longer overwrite tags that Deeper owns. This website also shipped.
Sync is now fully manual: nothing moves between your Mac and phone until you press SYNC. Added a cancel button that actually cancels, and a watchdog that catches stalled transfers.
Release plumbing: notarized builds, auto-updates, this landing page. Getting ready to charge money turns out to be more code than the waveforms were.
Rekordbox USB export shipped in beta: playlists, cues and grids written to a stick a CDJ can read. The format is undocumented, so this one took some reverse engineering.
A wave of iPhone features landed: advanced search, beatgrid editing, loops and beat-jump, playlist management, a smartlist editor. The phone app is turning into a real tool.
The foundations: multi-band waveforms rendered on the GPU, native beatgrid and key analysis, the tag editor, smartlists, and two-way Rekordbox import. Most of 2026 so far.
