Deeper is built so your music library stays on your own devices. This page explains, in plain language, what the app and this website handle.

Deeper stores your library data — tracks, tags, cues, playlists, smartlists, waveforms, and analysis — locally on your own devices. It is not uploaded to us, and we do not have a copy of it. Syncing moves this data directly between your own Mac and your own phone.

this website does not track you

The deeper.dj website uses no analytics and no tracking. There are no cookies, no pixels, and no third-party scripts collecting information about your visit.

what the app connects to

The desktop app makes network connections only for these specific purposes:

• Apple — app updates. Deeper checks for and downloads updates via Sparkle. This is a standard HTTP request for the update feed and installer; no personal data beyond what any HTTP request carries is sent.
• Lemon Squeezy — license activation. When you activate a license, Deeper sends your license key and your Mac's hostname to verify and register the activation. Nothing from your music library is included.
• Bug-report drop-box — only when you submit one. If you choose to send a bug report, Deeper transmits the report text you provided. This happens only when you explicitly submit a report; nothing is sent otherwise.
